Looks yummy, will be trying this out.

I really want one of these right now, but don’t have raspberries. It looks great, and I’m sure it would work well with almond milk.
Lynn
@Linda, I would guess it would work well with almond milk. It is good with strawberries also. 🙂
Dawn
Ooooh… I’d like to try it, any other milk substitutes besides almond milk? I’m not that big of a fan of soy or rice, but haven’t looked lately at what other options are available.
Thanks!
Laura
sounds very yummy:) my 10 year old daughter loves berries of all kinds and we most always have some on hand so I think I’m going to have to try blueberry, strawberry, maybe cherry and maybe even a combo of berries?? Hmmm… that recipe really has me thinking! Thanks for sharing:)
Laura
We had this for breakfast this morning using 1 cup frozen mixed berries and one banana. It was awesome;) The banana thickens it up and makes it more filling. More like a smoothie maybe, but for us anyway, this recipe has things we always have on hand. Yogurt usually disappears too fast to make many smoothies. It seems no matter how much I buy it never lasts more than a couple days!

Thanks for another great recipie. We had them made with strawberries this morning!
Jessica
Thank you so much for sharing. I can’t wait to try this recipe next week on the kids. What a wonderful way to cool down 🙂
Heidi
We loved this, but I did think it was a bit too liquidy. After I added more ice and raspberries I thought it had a better texture. Thanks for the recipe!
Stacy
Do you really use powdered sugar for this and not regular sugar??
Lynn
Yes, the powdered sugar gives it a better texture because it is finer than regular sugar.

I just found this while trying to figure out what to do with some frozen fruit in my freezer. I added it to Stuffdot so I don’t forget and can’t wait to try it this weekend!

GREAT RECIPE! Very similar if not spot on to Orange Julius. I just used normal crystalized sugar and found it dissolves just fine. I also only eyeballed the ingredients, but thank you, thank you, for this delicious drink.
Lynn
I am glad you enjoyed it!
