I took a few weeks off from What Is It Wednesday and I enjoyed the break, but I am excited to start sharing some of the fun foods that my family has been trying again.

I am sure this is going to be pretty easy for some of you, but I decided to post it anyway.

Do you know what it is?

I love learning about new foods here! I had never heard of red rice. Does it cook up like wild rice or more like brown?

I will let you know exactly what it is and how I used it next Wednesday. I will say though that I loved it! It was really good (whatever it is 🙂 )

I was going to say wild rice, but it looks too red for rice. Is it red wheat berries?

Looks like red rice to me. We bought some in Spain a couple of years ago but have not seen it here.

I’m looking forward to learning about this one. I’ve not seen brown rice so brown or long-grained. Neither does it seem to have a long enough seed for what I typically see for wild “rice”.

I did not see who won the Flour mill? Did I get the give away date wrong? Thanks.

Hi Judy, I don’t usually do a separate post just for the winner. I usually just go back and close the giveaway and add the name of the winner to the top of the page. Then I email the winner. The information is at the top of this post. I hope that helps. https://www.lynnskitchenadventures.com/2011/09/wondermill-review-and-giveaway.html
