Do you serve Gluten Free Chocolate Waffles for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert? We love them for all of those!
I have been making these gluten-free waffles for at least ten years. They were one of my son’s favorite breakfast treats when he was younger.
Now that he is a six-foot seven-inch college student, he still loves them.
I love how versatile these gluten free chocolate waffles are to serve.
They make a fun weekend breakfast, but they also work for a delicious holiday treat.
If you serve them with ice cream they are a fun dessert.
We have even eaten them as breakfast for dinner.
We love these with berries and whipped cream.
However, I think my favorite way to eat them is with peanut butter and sliced bananas. The combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and bananas is so good!
Really you can’t go wrong any way you serve these. Your whole family will love these.
Gluten Free Chocolate Waffles are a gluten free food that no one will think twice about being gluten free.

These look yummy! It looks like there’s an ingredient that is 3 tablespoons that wasn’t typed.
Lynn
Yes, thank you so much for catching that and letting me know. It was sugar. These would not have tasted quite the same without it, so I am glad you noticed that.

How much xanthan gum? It just says 1/4. I’m mixing these now and the batter tastes bitter? Any one else made them?
Lynn
It is 1/4 teaspoon. I have no idea what happened when I typed out this recipe. I am so sorry about that. They are both fixed now. How did they taste once cooked. They are not overly sweet, but we did not find them to be bitter. I hope they turned out for you.
Paige Farrish
Also, the baking powder is missing in step three:)
Lynn
Fixed.
Paige
Thank you, they were awesome!
Lynn
I am so glad they turned out for you!
