Thank you so much for this recipe. I can’t wait to try it. I am now dairy free and need to avoid all the store bought items like this. Plus it is much healthier. Can you store this in the fridge?
Kendra
Is it something magical about coconut oil or will any oil do? We are allergic to coconut !
Lynn
The coconut oil is what hardens the best, but other oils should work too if you can’t have coconut.

I loved Magic Shell when I was a kid! Now my kids & I can enjoy a healthier version of it. Thank you!
Lynn
It is so easy to make at home. I hope that they enjoy it!

I SEE YOU DID NOT REPLY TO JOYCE AS TO STORING THIS IN THE FRIDGE.. I ASSUME IT WILL HARDEN BUT DOES IT REHEAT AND STILL HARDEN WHEN USED ?
Lynn
I guess I missed Joyce’s question. And sorry I did not get back to you before now. I took some time off this weekend. I keep it on the counter. It lasts for a few days fine. It will harden in the fridge. If you don’t think you will use it up you could easily make a smaller batch. I hope that helps and that you enjoy the homemade magic shell.
