Quick and Easy Hamburger Rice Dinner

I used to buy a lot of rice a roni type box mixes. Why did I buy them? They were cheap and you could find coupons for them.

But several months ago I found a recipe for homemade rice/pasta type dish. We really enjoy it as a side dish. It is really good. And really it is much better then the packaged stuff. My husband even likes it. So, I decided to add meat to it to make it a main dish. I used the beef version and added about 1 pound of cooked ground beef.

It worked well. My kids loved it. I loved it because it made for a quick and frugal meal. I now always try to keep some of the mix made up so I can have a quick side dish or dinner ready if I need one.

So, give it a try as a side dish or a main dish it is really good.

We love eating the beef rice/pasta mix with hamburger added. If you like Asian food, it’s really yummy with a little soy sauce on it. So GOOD!
