This no bake dessert is one that I made recently and it is now a new favorite in our house. It is light and creamy and very good. We all loved it.
It only contains three ingredients and it goes together in no time. You really cannot get much simpler than this dessert.
Not only is this easy, this can be used in several different ways. You can freeze it and it is a wonderfully creamy frozen type dessert. This is my husband’s favorite way to eat it.
You can also just refrigerate this and it is a lighter and creamier dessert, and if you place this in a graham cracker crust you will have a refreshing summertime pie.
Anyway you eat this I think you will enjoy it!

Do you use already mixed orange juice or the concentrate?
Lynn
@Amie, I use the already mixed up juice, not the concentrate. It is not a strong orange taste, but you can definitely taste the orange in it.

Just three ingredients?! I love it! I bet it would be good with lemonade as well.

Your recipe sounds like a perfect summer dessert – lovely, light and creamy! Thanks for sharing it!
Terri
I have been following your posts for a couple of months now and find some of your Kitchen Adventures interesting. However, I am sorry to say that as of this post I will be discontinuing following you. This recipe is so unhealthy – Cool Whip is full of chemicals, marshmellow creme….come on now……I know this may not get put up on your site and I totally understand, but even though this is a dessert, there are much healthier things to make.
Lynn
@Terri, I am sorry to hear that you will no longer be following my site. I understand that you think this dessert is unhealthy, and I agree. This is not a dessert I will make weekly. Our family has gone through some major food issues over the last year. We can no longer enjoy many of the desserts that we used to enjoy. Between gluten free and nut and peanut free, our choices are very limited. Over all we eat healthy, so I don’t mind occasionally serving my family a dessert like this. We eat healthy most of the time so that we can occasionally splurge. I am sorry that you disagree with that and are disappointed with my site. I make many things from scratch from enchilada and taco sauce, to homemade versions of our favorite rest. recipes. I do things like that in order to splurge in other areas.

That looks great, going to try this one with my toddler sometime! I bet he’ll love it. I’m thinking about trying it with the graham cracker crust.

Lynn, this sounds good and easy. I agree with Kristy, it’d be good in a graham cracker crust. Thank you for sharing this recipe and enjoy Foodie Friday!
Blessings, Beth

What an interesting recipe. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I bet it would be great made with real whipped cream.

Terri: Get over it. Welcome to 2011. The year of cool whip and marshmallow fluff! If you don`t like a recipe then don`t make it. Have fun finding a recipe site that does not use any convenience items. She even said it is not healthy at the beginning of the post. Lets try to have a little fun in life. Fun is what this blog is supposed to be about anyway. Not putting other people down.
Lynn: Keep posting what ever you want. I like that you keep changing up the recipes. We all try to eat healthy most of the time, but who wants to get crazy about it?
Lynn
@Christen, Thanks! 🙂
