Grapes and apples are combined in a fruit salad with cream cheese and pecans. This is a delicious side dish or dessert.
This recipe for fruit salad with cream cheese and pecans is perfect for the holidays or every day.
This fruit salad is my take on the classic Southern grape salad. You are missing out if you are unfamiliar with the southern-style grape salad.
The first time I had grape salad was at a church potluck. Church dinners have some of the best food. The next time I had it was at the restaurant Chicken Salad Chick.
Chicken Salad Chick is a southern-style restaurant that serves all kinds of chicken salad. They also have the best broccoli salad and grape salad.
I love grape salad, so I knew that I wanted to recreate it at home. I have made the salad with just grapes, but I recently added other fruit, and it was even better.
I like it with grapes and apples, but you can add whatever fruit you want to this salad.
I will also be very honest and say this is more of a dessert than a salad. You can serve it as a side dish salad, but I would also serve this for an easy fruit dessert.
