Last winter I posted a recipe for Easy Peanut Butter cups. My family loved these peanut butter cups, but I kind of forgot about them once my daughter was diagnosed with a peanut allergy. Yesterday though I had a reader remind me of how good these were when they left this comment on my peanut butter cup post.
“I just made these and they are sooo good!”
They also sent me the above photo, so I knew I wanted to share it with you.
Don’t those look so good!
If you or anyone in your family loves chocolate and peanut butter you really need to try these. They are so easy and so good.
I love hearing from my readers, so thank for sharing how much you enjoyed these.

I have made these several times since I got the recipe from your blog winter, and they are always a HUGE hit! Sometimes I even make them *just* for us… better than any candy/sweet treat I can buy, and easy too – thank you!
Lynn
@Mamie, I am so glad that you liked them!

Mmmmm! Thank you! A new treat!

Hey this is a great recipe. And dangerously delicious. We recently had to stop sending pb&j to school which really bummed my kids out but we found an alternative. It’s made from soy. Here’s the website:https://www.soybutter.com/ I wonder if it would work for this recipe? We found it at walmart.
Lynn
@Elizabeth, We use soy butter quite a bit now in our house, but I am not sure how my family would like it in this recipe. Peanut butter definitely has a different/better taste than soy butter and the pb flavor in this is pretty dominant in this recipe. But I might try it and see if I could get by with it. 🙂

These look amazing..
We usually resort to instant satisfaction — a spoon full of peanut butter dipped into chocolate chips.. 🙂 LOL

Lynn, I bet you could make these using sunbutter or almond butter and they’d be loved almost as much, if not as much as peanut butter. I’ve subbed both in recipes that call for peanut butter and usually enjoy them more. 🙂

Those look delicious! If you are interested in having these and since your daughter has a peanut allergy you could try sunbutter. I have heard it’s really good, and a great allternative to peanut butter!
Have a lovely day

I have made these a few times since you posted the recipe last year and I agree that they are delicious!!! I don’t make them often, because I tend to consume way too many of them myself 🙂
Kristina
I made these back when you first posted the recipe (well, as soon as I got a mini muffin pan) and we didn’t really care for them. I’m tempted to try again with milk chocolate chips just to see if that would be more to our liking.
Rebecca
We picked up the ingredients for this yesterday but got distracted with a PB fudge recipe. Trying this one tonight, for sure. My only concern is that we don’t usually like semisweet, so we may end up trying it with milk chocolate instead (or halving it to try with semisweet).
Lynn
@Rebecca, I think that would work fine or do part of each. I hope you enjoy them.
