This recipe is a perfect vegetable side dish for the holidays.

Simple Baked Carrots
Bacon makes everything better, even carrots.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs carrots, peeled and sliced or use baby carrots
- 2 slices of bacon
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place carrots on two large sheets of foil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place slices of uncooked bacon on top.
- Fold foil up into a packet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until tender. (time will depend on the size of carrots)
- Remove bacon and serve

My family totally agrees that bacon makes everything better. However, I have never heard of carrots with bacon. That is a new one : )
