I use my slow cooker all year long, but it gets used even more this time of year because it is an easy way to get dinner on the table without heating up the house.
Pork is one of my favorite things to cook in the slow cooker. That might have something to do with the fact that we raise hogs and I have a freezer full of pork. But it also has to do with the fact that pork cooks so well in the slow cooker. Low and slow cooking gives you delicious tender fall apart pork.
