These gluten free dairy free chocolate banana muffins are so good that everyone will love them.
Both a good friend and my sister recently asked me for some gluten free dairy free quick bread or muffin recipes.
I sent them my gluten free dairy free banana bread recipe, but I realized I had not shared this version of gluten free dairy free chocolate banana muffins.
I knew that I had to fix that and share it with you.
These muffins are full of chocolate. They contain two kinds of chocolate. Cocoa and dairy free chocolate chips, making them perfect for chocolate lovers.
These muffins are also a great way to use up extra bananas.
Ingredients
- Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Flour Blend
- Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa or Dutch processed cocoa
- baking soda
- salt
- bananas
- oil
- brown sugar
- egg
- vanilla
- Enjoy Life Gluten Free Dairy Free Chocolate chips or other gluten free dairy free chocolate chips.
Gluten Free Dairy Free Chocolate Banana Muffins
Gluten free dairy free chocolate banana muffins are so good that no one will know are gluten free.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons Bob's Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten Free Flour Blend
- 1/2 cup dutch processed cocoa or Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 large bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup Enjoy Life gluten free dairy free chocolate chips.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease or line a 12 cup muffin pan with liners. Set aside.
- Combine Bob'a Red Mill Gluten Free Flour Blend, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. Stir in oil, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Stir until combined.
- Stir in flour and cocoa mixture and stir just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop batter into muffin cups, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minute or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for a couple of minutes. Then remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
Notes
Other blends may work, but this recipe has only been tested with Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 1 to 1 blend. Other gluten free dairy free chocolate chips will work, but Enjoy Life are the best allergy-friendly chocolate chips and are easy to find.
