Making bread and bread products at home is one of the easiest ways to save money on your grocery bill. But many people are intimidated by recipes that contain yeast and require a lot of kneading.
This recipe today though is very simple. It has no yeast and no kneading. It is a form of quick bread and similar to a biscuit. It is called Irish Soda Bread, but this really is not a traditional Irish Soda Bread. From what I know about soda bread, which is not much, this is moister and a little sweeter than a traditional soda bread would be. However, this is still really good. We really enjoy it.
This is a quick, easy, and frugal bread to use as a side dish to almost any meal.
