My family loves pickles and this pickle dip with cream cheese is a favorite dip recipe.
Like many of my recipes, this pickle dip recipe came about because of I wanted to make a copycat version of the popular fried pickle dip.
I have seen fried pickle dip at Sam’s Club, Costco, and other places. I have been so tempted to buy it, but every brand that I have looked at contains gluten. Which makes sense since most fried things are not gluten free.
Since I eat gluten free I decided that I needed to come up with a homemade gluten free pickle dip recipe. It isn’t an exact copycat since it isn’t fried pickles, but it is still delicious!
But this recipe is not just for those that are gluten free. This dip contains cream cheese, sour cream, pickles, and some seasoning. This is a dip everyone will love. Or at least everyone that loves pickles.
After looking at multiple other recipes for pickle dip, I decided to come up with my own.
Mainly because many pickle dip recipes, especially cream cheese-based ones, don’t contain a lot of pickles. That means that they do not have a strong pickle flavor.
If I am going to make pickle dip I want it to taste like pickles.
The recipe I came up with is one that my family loves!
I will say that it makes quite a bit, so if you are only serving a few people you may want to half the recipe.
