Is ramen stir fry gluten free?
This recipe is easy to make gluten free. I use Lotus Foods Brown Rice Ramen and gluten free soy sauce. I also read labels to make sure all the other ingredients are gluten free.
If you do those simple adjustments, it is a great gluten-free meal.
Ingredients
- ramen noodles, use gluten free ramen noodles
- onion
- green or red bell pepper
- garlic
- ginger
- ground beef, or turkey, or pork
- coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
- soy sauce, use gluten free soy sauce for gf version
- rice wine vinegar
- oil
- sriracha sauce
- water
- cornstarch

Gluten Free Egg Roll In A Bowl
Ramen Stir Fry
A quick and easy dinner that combines egg roll in a bowl and stir fry.
Ingredients
- 3 - 3 ounce each ramen noodle packages or blocks, without seasoning, use gluten free ramen noodles
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green or red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 glove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 pound ground beef, or turkey, or pork
- 16 ounce package coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup soy sauce, use gluten free soy sauce for gf version
- 2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sriracha sauce, water, cornstarch, and water in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cook ramen noodles without seasoning until done. Drain off the water.
- While noodles are cooking, cook ground beef with onions and peppers until the meat is done and no longer pink, and the vegetables are tender. Drain off any fat.
- Add garlic and ginger to the meat and cook medium-low for about 1 minute.
- Add coleslaw mix to the meat and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring fairly often.
- Add half of the sauce and cook 2-3 more minutes or until cabbage is desired tenderness.
- Add the remaining sauce and cooked noodles to the meat mixture.
- Cook on medium heat until heated through.
Notes
For a gluten free version use gluten free ramen noodles, gluten free soy sauce and read labels to make sure that your ingredients are gluten free.
