- green peppers, any color will work, though
- onion
- taco seasoning, use gluten free taco seasoning if gluten free
- water
- Rotel tomatoes
- can of pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- shredded cheddar cheese
Skillet Tacos Gluten Free
Skillet tacos are a one pot quick and easy dinner. It is also gluten free.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 green peppers, chopped ( any color works)
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 package taco seasoning, use gluten free taco seasoning if gluten free
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can rotel tomatoes
- 1 - 16 ounce can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet combine ground beef, onion, and peppers, Cook until meat is browned and not longer pink, and peppers and onions are tender.
- Drain off fat.
- Add taco seasoning, water, tomatoes, and beans.
- Cook on medium low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in cheese.
- Serve as is, with chips, or on tortillas.
