Stir fry is a great summer meal. It is easy to make and contains all kinds of vegetables that are readily available this time of year.
Today I am sharing some of my favorite stir fry recipes. Some are mine and some are from around the web.

What is your favorite way to make stir fry?
Teresa
I do a stir fried meal about once a week on average. Two of my favorites are Beef Lo Mein and Chicken-in-a-Garden.
The Lo Mein dish is a recipe from Jane Brody’s Good Food Book and the Chicken stir fry is my version of a recipe I found on a card at the Kroger Store in the meat department, and I gave this dish it’s name – because it has so many vegetables in the dish. Recently I made stir fried pork fajitas with pork strips marinated and onion and peppers added after the pork is cooked a few minutes. I’ve taught classes in stir frying and I always say “your stir fried dish doesn’t have to taste like Chinese food – it all depends on the ingredients and the seasonings!”

I love what you said about stir fry doesn’t have to taste like stir fry. That is the fun of stir fry. You use what you have and what you like. It can easily be adjusted to your tastes and what you have. I have never seen the book Good Food Book. I will have to look for it.
