I recently bought this and once I opened it, I refused to eat it, but more on that next week………..

    It looks like ghee. Did you refuse to eat it because it was rancid?

    I was going to guess lemon curd until you said that you refused to eat it. Ghee has my vote too.

    Ghee. Could be another type of fat as well like duck liver fat. Not sure though. Does it have a smell?
