GIVEAWAY OVER
The winner is Melissa- melizajane20@
I sent you an email.
I am so excited about this review and giveaway.
Before going gluten free I loved baking and made all kinds of things. I even ground my own flour and loved the benefits of fresh ground whole wheat, but then gluten free eating entered my life. Grinding my own flour was no longer an option and my flour mill was set aside and eventually given away to a friend of mine.
Recently though I was contacted by WonderMill about reviewing their mill for grinding gluten free flours. I can not tell you how excited I was for a chance to grind my own gluten free flours.
I started with grinding my own rice flours and tried them in three gluten free recipes that I have made many times. I made my chocolate chip cookies, my pizza crust, and in our new favorite pancake and the rice flours I ground myself worked perfectly. I could not tell a difference at all.
You can read my full review of the WonderMill and gluten free flours in my allergy section. And whether or not you are gluten free I really encourage you to read my review. I am impressed with the WonderMill and how it works.
The WonderMill is great for grinding all kinds of things not just gluten free flours. You can use this for wheat, corn, and various other things. This mill would be great for anyone wanting to give grinding their own flours a try.
And the good news is that the great people at WonderMill not only sent me a mill to try, they are giving away a mill to one of my readers!
Yes, one of you will win a WonderMill!

Oh goodness, I would LOVE to win this! We grind out own flour already… using a hand crank grinder! It takes forever, but I’m trying to save up for a ‘real’ one. 🙂 Winning this would be awesome! Thanks for the chance!
Joellyn
My daughter and I are changing the way we eat -more from scratch-less store bought. I would love to be able to use fresh flour in my baking/cooking. 🙂
Gina F
I have just started baking my own wheat bread (mixing with a bread maker). I have been terrified of baking anything with yeast so this is a big step for me. My next step is to start grinding my own wheat flour. Thank you so much for this contest.
Robin
We had to go gluten free two years ago and would LOVE to be able to grind our own flour! I would like to try milling rice, of course – but millet would be the next one I would want to try.
Katie
I heard that grinding fresh flour and using it in your recipes makes them more light and airy. I’ve heard that there is a big difference. I’d like to try it for myself.
Richard

I listened to an audio about the health benefits of grinding your own flour, and my interest was sparked. Unfortunately, the cost of the mill is more than I am able to spend.
Cynthia
I recently ran across a bread making machine in my Mom’s house. Would my own ground flour work in it, as all the recipies call for bread flour? I would love to have a grinder and find out.
HeidiJ
I’ve been thinking about getting a grinder to take the next step in our healthful eating habits…I just don’t see it fitting into the budget for a while. Thanks for the opportunity to win one!
Amy
I have wanted to grind my own flours for such a long time. I keep hearing how much more healthful and better tasting freshly ground flour is.
rachel
I have one but I’d love to have one that I could maintain with gluten free flours only!
Tiffany C.
I would love to win this! Becoming a mom this year has really inspired me to cook from scratch and care more about the details of homemaking.
Tyra
Grinding our own flour is awesome! We have a Blendtec grain mill that I must use outside because it blows flour EVERYWHERE! It also extremely LOUD!! It sounds like an airplane landing. Seriously. I would love to have a Wondermill!! It would be awesome to grind my own flour everyday on the countertop!!
Carol W
I have wanted one of these for a long time. Maybe this is my time.
Kim
I would love to try grinding my own flour for cost, convenience and to be more health conscience. It would be great to have this addition.
Denise
I love that grinding your own flour gives you the freshest flour possible. Most certainly a great thing for my family and their health!
Maudie the Maid
I love to grind my own wheat.
christina h.
I’ve been baking my own bread, pitas, muffins, rolls, etc for two years solid now. I’ve really been wanting to start grinding my own flour, and just when I had enough saved to buy a really nice grain mill, my bread machine broke. Upside–new bread machine! Downside–another year at least of bagged flour. Winning this would be just incredible.
Cheryl
Lynn, I am tired of being sick and tired. I want to start being more in control of the foods entering into my body and my families body. Too many allergies, asthma and diet interolence. So for me I want to use it for health reasons.
Sarah
I only use whole wheat and I have wanted a grinder for so long, but have not been able to fit one in the budget so I have ranged from using my blender to borrowing my friend’s grinder, to just buying it already ground. I love wonder will and would love a chance to have one in my home to enhance my family meals as well as save money and be more self reliant!
Ruth
I would love to try grinding flour with this!
Mary G
I would LOVE to have this mill! My husband has had a heart attack and has spinal stenosis, arthritis, and fybromylgia. We have read so much about the foods you eat affecting your health and we are trying to eat things that are good for you. We live in a rural area and have limited resources locally, so it is hard to find flour that isn’t wheat which is one of the things that works against his health. I would use this to grind oats to make his bread as well as to try out other things!
Crystal
I need to go gluten free. This would make that easier
Cheryl
This would be so great to win! I could grind my own flours anytime I wanted to make something without having to run to the store for supplies.
I am just learning to bake gluten-free and feel this would be great in my kitchen! Thank you for this chance to win!
Julie Hutchison
I have been wanting one of these for a while, in my church they promote self-preservation and food storage. I would love to add this to my kitchen and start using wheat, rice and whatever else I can to make homemade breads and cookies for my family.
Nicole
Ohhh, I would LOVE a Wondermill! I belong to a coop and I can get wheat berries. There are so many health benefits to grinding your own grain! Unfortunately a grain mill isn’t in the budget since I gave up my job to come home and raise our kiddos. Starting home schooling next week w/our 4 year old, so excited!
Barb @ Mom's Fridge
We’re not gluten-free, but we do know that FRESH is better! Who knows how long those bags of flour sit around before they make it to my shopping cart? Freshly-ground flour, no matter what the grain, would have more nutrients available.
Colleen G.
My mom has a wonder mill and grinds many of her gluten free flours at home. I would like a mill for my family.
Dineen
I would love to be able to grind my own flours. Even before the thought of trying GF, we enjoyed non-wheat flours and the grains in bulk are easier to find and generally cheaper. Now that we live in a more rural area, those wonderful flours are even more expensive when I do find them.
My husband is on the autism spectrum and it has been recommended that we give a GF a try. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia. My attempts to go gluten-free have always been faltering because of the expense, despite trying to keep things simple. A tool like this mill sounds like a wonderful boon. Your review of this Wondermill also makes home-milling sound less messy.
Rebecca R.
I have heard of others grinding their own flour and the health benefits, and have thought it would be a great thing to try someday if possible. With 9 children, it seems buying things like food and daily necessities somehow ranks higher on the priority list than a grinder! 🙂 Winning a giveaway like this would be my best chance for trying out a grinder in the near future!
Stephanie Moore
I’ve been wanting to try a mill for some time after reading that most of the nutrients are lost shortly after the kernals are ground. I would love to give this a try!! Thanks!
Ana
I have been wanting to grind my own flour.. this is great!
April
I bake almost every day, and I would love to be able to provide my family with the freshest basic ingredients possible. Thanks for doing a giveaway.

Perfect timing! I made the leap to make my own bread this year, then recently started baking artisan bread. Grinding my own flour is
the next step in my plan to switch to fresh, whole foods in our home.

Thanks for the opportunity!
JUDY
What a generous gift the WonderMill company is offering to some lucky person! My neighbor has a hand crank type mill and turns out the most enviable loaf of bread I have ever seen. He gets his flour from the farmer as they combine the wheat field across the road from us. Best of luck to everyone but hope to see a picture post on Lynn’s site of the winner with their home baked products after winning! That would be awesome!
Marlon
The idea of grinding my own flour sounds exciting to me. We try to eat as much natural and organic foods as possible and using the Wondermill would give you that extra feel of natural and organic!!!
Irene
Just immigrating to the wonderful USA to be with children & grandchildren & so having to set up everything from scratch. What a wonderful and healthy addition to add to a bare kitchen. What a wonderful example for the young ones.
Cheryl
Over the years, I have known people who have had mills to grind their own flours. They talked about how easy it was, how much better the foods tasted and how healthy it was compared to the prepared flours. I got a chance to sample some of the breads, and it was very good.
I am a fan of making food from scratch and have had a mill on my mental wishlist for a long time.
While I don’t need to have a gluten-free home, I have friends who do. I have been telling them about your site and want to experiment with some of the recipes.
Thanks for the review and the giveaway.
Karin Alvarado
I have dear friend that makes almost everything from scratch. She has wanted a mill for some time and just can’t afford one. I would love to win this to give to her.

My husband gifted me with a NutriMill for Christmas. Once I found a place to keep it in the kitchen, and found a place to order bulk grain, it’s MUCH easier than I expected to grind fresh flour when you need it!
Kathleen Pyle
I have been considering trying a gluten-free diet for my family of 10. This mill would be a great tool to help me get started.
Leslie
I would love to try the wondermill.
Janis McKinney
My daughter and son-in-law live with me and he is on a gluten free diet. They are struggling financially right now, and as you know, the gluten free foods are not cheap! I would love to be able to give them a wonder mill to grind their own flours which would help them tremendously!
melanie kurz
I would love to try grinding gluten free flour. I just recently read an article that makes me believe that I need to give gluten free a try to see if that is some of my health problems. This would be great for me to try and use with my four children.
Julie cleeland
Nice! I would love to become more self- sufficient by grinding! I d look forward to the added freshness:) thank you for the opportunity !

We’d love to win so we can try to save money by grinding our own gluten free flours.

LynJ
I’ve recently started making my own homemade wheat bread. I have no way to grind wheat, so I’ve had to purchase the hard white wheat flour . It’s very expensive. I would love to be able to save money by buying wheat and grinding my own flour. It’s fun and tasty getting healthy and I’m done with white bread! Thanks Lynn and WonderMill for offering me this chance!
Mayra
Hi! I would love to start grinding because I learned that the flour has a fresh taste and a different consistency. Then I will be able to buy the wheat of my preference and start to experiment with them making bread, pizza, tortillas, etc. Thank you for the opportunity.
Francine Moore
I would like to grind my own flour because it is cheaper to buy in bulk with the grains and then grind your own flour. Recently since going GF I make a lot of my own food; it would be really great to win a grinder for these natural grains. I really miss the baking part of going GF; the grinder would help with this part of this new lifestyle. Thank you for the opportunity to win a WonderMill.
Shirley
I didn’t even know there was such a tool until a couple of years ago when I became interested in making more items from scratch. It intrigued me, but when I looked at the cost of one, there was no way I could afford something like that so I wrote it off as something that I’d probably never be able to buy. Winning this would certainly be a blessing.
laura
if anything….just trying to keep it real. our society has gone to everything processed and quick and ready at your fingertips…..i would also like to win this to help my sister who has been having a horrible time with her “gut” – and my son…..

I do a lot of baking, it would be great to make my own flour. I think I would enjoy it most for baking our bread. It would be fun to experiment.
Donna
I’m an intermittent baker so often I have flour stockpiled from my baking frenzied days. Of course, that’s not good for the whole grains I’m using more often. This would solve the problem of my flours going bad.
Nicole
Wow, I was just a reading another blog about grinding your own gluten free flour and here your post is in my inbox : ) I would love to be able to grind more flour at a time that I do in my little “coffee” grinder. Thanks for the chance to win Lynn!

Crafty Mama

Valerie
I would love to have a grinder to replace one that I had seven years ago that broke and because the model had been discontinued I could not get it repaired. I loved having fresh flour in my kitchen to bake with because the taste was so much better than storebought!
Ian cross
I would like this for my wife, she is a wonderful baker and I know that if we won this it would thrill her!!!
Pat R
I love adventures and making my own flour would certainly qualify as a new adventure for me!
tory
I would love a NEW mill! I have one that I picked up at a yard sale for $4. Yes, major score -but it’s a discontinued model and it’s missing a few pieces. The pieces that stop the flour from blowing all over your kitchen. Needless to say, this mill would be an awesome addition to our fabulously dusty kitchen. Thanks for the opportunity!
Karen
I love the idea of grinding flour at home. Where I live specialty flours are hard to find, only in very small packages and so expensive that I never even consider buying them. That means some favorites that can’t be homemade because the flours are too expensive, are off the menu. I would also like to experiment with GF cooking because of some possible sensitivities, but when the cost of experimental ingredients requires cutting back on other foods we all consume without issues, the experiment is not going to happen.
Wendy B
I have never used freshly ground flour before! I can only imagine that the flour would be much fresher and anything baked with it would taste better:)
lynn
OH this would be perfect for our family! We are trying to eat more healthy and eat whole grains. The kids would love to help me use this and be more interested in eating their whole grains if we did the grinding of the flours together.
Judith Watkins
Grinding your own flour has got to be more nutritious than buying a bag of flour that has been sitting on the shelf. A grinder would be a welcome addition to my kitchen and food storage.
kim
I would love to have one of these WonderMills! I live in a rural town and there is not a lot of selection when it comes to GF flours, this would solve problem!!! Thanks for the chance!
walker
