GIVEAWAY OVER
The winner is Melissa- melizajane20@
I sent you an email.
I am so excited about this review and giveaway.
Before going gluten free I loved baking and made all kinds of things. I even ground my own flour and loved the benefits of fresh ground whole wheat, but then gluten free eating entered my life. Grinding my own flour was no longer an option and my flour mill was set aside and eventually given away to a friend of mine.
Recently though I was contacted by WonderMill about reviewing their mill for grinding gluten free flours. I can not tell you how excited I was for a chance to grind my own gluten free flours.
I started with grinding my own rice flours and tried them in three gluten free recipes that I have made many times. I made my chocolate chip cookies, my pizza crust, and in our new favorite pancake and the rice flours I ground myself worked perfectly. I could not tell a difference at all.
You can read my full review of the WonderMill and gluten free flours in my allergy section. And whether or not you are gluten free I really encourage you to read my review. I am impressed with the WonderMill and how it works.
The WonderMill is great for grinding all kinds of things not just gluten free flours. You can use this for wheat, corn, and various other things. This mill would be great for anyone wanting to give grinding their own flours a try.
And the good news is that the great people at WonderMill not only sent me a mill to try, they are giving away a mill to one of my readers!
Yes, one of you will win a WonderMill!

I already grind my own flour because I know it is the healthier way to cook for my family, but the grinder I have is a kitchen aid attachment and my need for flour for my large family is far more than my KA is able to handle. I would love to have a wondermill.

I want to win this!! I started grinding my own grains a few years ago because I read about the health benefits of using freshly ground grains. I only have a hand crank grinder….it works…but, after a while your elbow starts screaming in pain if you want to do more than a cupful at a time.

Dawn
WonderMill Giveaway – Life is always changing. Learning to prepare baked goods truly from scratch (I bake a lot from scratch, but also still buy flour & mixes) and having the right equipment (to truly incorporate a new skill, the right tools are critical) is important for keeping life skills ready to care for your family, whatever the future holds.
Gail
I would love to give grinding my own flours a try. I try to buy in bulk sorghum grain, almonds (and blanch them myself) and sunflower seeds. Getting a grain mill would make it easy to deal with these grains.
Kim
I am a mom who wants to feed her children high quality foods. I am tired of additives and things I can’t pronounce on packages. It has been my goal to only eat what my grandparents would have seen on the shelves in the grocery store. No more prepackaged junk. This grinder would help my baking be even more healthier. It will also help us frugal families.
Kathy steadman
I have ALWAYS wanted a grinder like the wondermill! I would like to use it because it would be one more way to eat a little healthier. It makes sense that the fresher it is the more healthy it is. Thanks for the chance to win one!

I would love to win the WonderMill to be able to grind my own gluten free flours for health reasons. I have both Systemic Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis and have studied different ways foods can improve those conditions as well as foods that exacerbate them. One of my favorite mantras is “Simplify ~ Throw Everything Out!” when it come to my home and I am now trying to apply this principal to the food I eat.
In the process of trying to eliminate processed food and overcome issues with gluten, sugars and dairy grinding my own flour seem a natural next step. By going back to basic food and learning how to use it one eats healthier and can also save money.
Thanks for the great blog.
Amy Connelly

We have talked of buying a grinder many times but somehow something else medically has always come up. I have a disease that is exacerbated by impurities and chemicals in food. I can tell a HUGE difference in using all natural products, and would love to add using ‘home milled flour’ into the way we are now eating. 🙂

We would use it to grind groats into oatmeal and also to make bread and pancakes.

I would love to be able to win this for my mother-in-law who follows a GF diet. She bakes all her own bread/cookies. She has worked very hard all her life and this would help make her life easier and might even put me up in the pecking order against the other sisters-in-law (lol).

Alana D.
I’m trying to eat healthier and would love to grind my own flour.

I love baking pies, even more now that I have little girls to take part in the joy of it! I’ve tried using whole wheat and other flours for my crust, but none work half as well if they’re not freshly ground! We’d also love to be able to make life easier for my stepfather and my mother-in-law, who are both celiacs with diabetes and food allergies. Gluten-free flour is expensive in the grocery store, and that is especially taxing to my stepfather, who is fiercely Italian and can now not have his favorite comf0rt food. Being able to grind flour at home would be a fun AND practical blessing to us. 🙂
Jackie
I am a stay-at-home, home-schooling Mom of 4 all 6 & under. I make my own bread & it would be amazing to be able to have one of these WonderMills to use.

A mill has been on my “wish” list for almost a year now – between working to pay down debt and paying for day to day expenses, it’s just not in the budget right now. I’ve been searching craigslist often for a used one, but they don’t come available often – at least not in my area. This would be well used and much appreciated if won!
